Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Technician to join our automotive service team. This role involves performing comprehensive vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance at various locations. The ideal candidate will have dealership experience, strong mechanical knowledge, and expertise in automotive electrical systems, ADAS, and powertrain components. As a Mobile Technician, you will deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring vehicles are repaired efficiently and correctly. This position offers an exciting opportunity for technicians with a passion for automotive repair and a desire to work independently in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed diagnostics using schematics, automotive diagnostics tools, and electronic testing equipment to identify issues with vehicles.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles, including GM models, diesel engines, transmissions, and powertrain components.
  • Execute complex repairs such as wheel alignments, ADAS calibration, electrical system troubleshooting, and engine repairs.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to complete repairs accurately.
  • Service vehicle systems including brakes, suspension, steering, electrical systems, and engine components.
  • Maintain detailed repair reports and communicate findings effectively to customers.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
  • Manage time efficiently to complete scheduled service appointments at various customer locations.

Skills

  • Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair.
  • Expertise in ADAS systems calibration and automotive electrical systems troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of schematics for wiring diagrams and system layouts.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing issues related to powertrain, transmissions, diesel engines, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto estimating software.
  • Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including GM vehicles and other makes/models.
  • Experience with vehicle alignment procedures and diesel engine repair is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
  • Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately.
  • Strong problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently in the field. This position is ideal for experienced automotive technicians eager to apply their skills in a mobile environment while delivering top-quality service to customers across various locations.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $1, $1,400.00 per week
