The role of the Kitchen Porter is to keep the kitchen and surrounding areas clean and organized, food prep help as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and portray the VIVAMEE Values.
  • Know, understand, and adhere to company established policies and procedures.
  • To wash dishes, pots, and small wares in a safe, efficient and timely manner.
  • To properly store and handle glassware, china, and silverware, etc. to prevent breakage.
  • To maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas.
  • To remove trash in kitchen and outside areas and place in appropriate containers as specified by Company policy and procedures.
  • To know how to use and apply all chemicals in a safe manner.
  • To assist the kitchen staff in the preparation of food when asked.
  • To assist in maintaining food and food related products.
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Report any misuse or breakage of glassware and china, etc.
