Front Desk Receptionist

Mary Immaculate Nursing/Restorative Center, a 231 bed not for profit skilled nursing facility, is currently seeking a Front Desk Receptionist who is friendly, organized, reliable and enjoys working with elders.
Shift: 4:30pm-7pm Monday-Friday. Occasional other shifts available for pick up (days or weekends)
Position Summary: Receptionist is responsible for answering the telephone and directing all calls to the appropriate extension. Greeting visitors and guests and directing them to appropriate person, unit, or office.
Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 6+ months customer service experience. Prior receptionist experience helpful but not required. Bilingual English/Spanish helpful.

Responsibilities of the Receptionist include (but not limited to):
Answers all telephone calls using switchboard with established protocols/greetings, takes messages and directs callers to the appropriate extension and/or voicemail box.
Welcomes and directs all residents, visitors and guests in accordance with established policies and procedures. Enforces all visitation policies of the facility.
Prepares residents' identification bracelets as needed.
Maintains an updated listing of all residents.
Collects and distributes mail and messages. Processes all U.S. outgoing mail as well as all Federal Express/UPS and intercompany/intercampus mail.
Monitors and inventories all office supplies and makes sure that all replacement supplies are ordered in a timely manner.
Performs variety of clerical duties
Performs other related duties as required.
