About this Position / Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Convert Java/JEE Applications to Maven
  • Move projects to Github
  • Work with the Automation Team to convert the eclipse/RAD compliant projects to Maven based projects
  • Use Github actions to build and publish projects
  • Work with the Operations team to automate deployments to websphere application server
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Well-versed in shell and python scripting in Unix environment
  • 10 years' experience required with Java
  • 10 years' experience required with Java EE
  • 10 years' experience desired with Maven
  • 10 years' experience required Git Repo Management
  • 5 years' experience required  with Github actions
  • 8 years' experience required with Websphere
  • 5 years' experience required with Jython
  • 5 years' experience required with Unix/Bash Scripting
  • Must be able to work onsite at least 1 day a week from Glen Allen office location
