Arrowhead Harley Davidson is seeking an outgoing and highly motivated Part-Time Cashier Our ideal candidate has solid mathematical and computer skills and can multitask effectively in a busy dealership service center. Previous work experience taking payments, preparing invoices, and balancing registers are helpful.

Responsibilities:

  • Assume responsibility for cash register and cash control to ensure that all amounts are correct
  • Print receipts for customers, reconcile billing problems, issue refunds, and answer questions related to the cost of service.
  • Provide exemplary customer service while efficiently and professionally fielding phone calls to deliver a positive buyer experience
  • Proactively resolve and reconcile unpaid, declined, or outstanding service payments and document transactions in the dealership computer system
  • Interpret and articulate costs and fees to customers to ensure a thorough understanding of the amount owed
  • Assist with general front desk clerical duties such as managing office supply inventory, keeping the cashier window area clean, and patching callers through to the appropriate contacts
  • Greet customers with a smile, maintain a professional appearance, escalate customer complaints to the service advisor if needed
  • Ensure customers are satisfied with all orders and items received or work completed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of powersports dealership experience desired.
  • Retail sales experience required
  • Experience handling money and payments in a service cashier role preferred
  • Must have cashier experience utilizing POS and or any other systems required to complete sales
  • Must be detail-oriented with a keen ability to read and understand written and verbal directions
  • Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division are needed to calculate invoices
  • Must have topnotch organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to remain customer focused and respond in a positive manner when faced with difficult or stressful situations.
  • Exceptional communication skills with strong cash register, clerical, and basic computer skills are a must
  • Excellent customer service skills, friendly and outgoing with a passion for working with people is essential
  • Bilingual is a plus
