Position Summary:
The Sales Assistant will provide critical support to the Suncast Sales Team. This role ensures seamless coordination of sales documentation, item setup, and customer-facing materials while collaborating with multiple internal departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to leverage data analytics to drive insights and improve processes. This role is based out of Mooresville or Charlotte, North Carolina.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary Sales Assistant for the Suncast Sales Team, reporting to the Sr. Director of Sales & Strategy.Coordinate key documentation, sell sheets, order tracking, and general follow-up activities.Manage image and sample requests for sales representatives and key customers.Create new item setup sheets, including accurate data entry, specifications, and image creation.Compile sell sheets into presentations for major customer meetings.Maintain and monitor sales calendars to track customer meetings and deadlines.Audit and update key customer websites to ensure product information accuracy.Utilize data analytics tools to track sales performance, identify trends, and support decision-making.Collaborate with Marketing and other departments as needed to ensure alignment on product and promotional initiatives.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or related field strongly preferred.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and present actionable insights.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, pivot tables, graphing) required.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business reports and technical documents.Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable of leading discussions and responding persuasively to challenges.Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities; able to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.Familiarity with database management and ability to learn new systems quickly.Additional Information:
This is an on-site role at Suncast Corporation—Mooresville, NC.
Occasional travel may be required to visit customers.
Office environment is climate-controlled; manufacturing areas require adherence to safety protocols.
The Anticipated Pay Range for This Position: $50K-60K annually.
