We are an Orthodox Jewish family seeking a professional full-time housekeeper to maintain a large four-story home in Teaneck, NJ. The ideal candidate is experienced, dependable, fluent in English, and comfortable in a strictly kosher environment.

Key Duties:

  • Daily full-house cleaning (bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen, floors, stairs)
  • Laundry (wash, fold, put away daily)
  • Manage household supplies & restocking
  • Receive deliveries and organise storage
  • Weekly deep cleaning and linen changes
  • Prepare for Shabbat & holidays (candles, produce prep, etc.)

Requirements:

  • 5+ years full-time private home experience (Orthodox Jewish and Kosher preferred)
  • Own transportation and drive yourself to work (must live within 15–20 minutes of Teaneck)
  • Must have excellent ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English, and be able to do so independently without the use of translation tools or assistance
  • Physically fit for multi-story home
  • Reliable, punctual, and self-directed
  • Legal work status, able to be paid as 1099
  • Able to be in touch with homeowner via text messaging

Benefits: Stable weekday schedule, respectful family environment, $30/hr + 11 paid days off.
