About us & the position:

LISCO Sports is a small business in Lubbock, TX. We manufacture athletic facility equipment for school districts. We are looking for a person with a good attitude, has his/her own transportation to and from work, is prompt, reliable and able to work on school grounds.

The job involves the accuracy of using a table saw, moving, carrying, loading/unloading our raw goods and delivering & installing our finished products. It also requires skilled experience of driving a truck and pulling 10' & 30' trailers. Travel is involved Mon-Fri (no weekends) and not every week or for all week. Responsibilities:

- Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials

- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques

- Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts, invoices, and delivery logs

- Communicate effectively with customers and provide excellent customer service

- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving

Requirements:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

- Experience in driving commercial vehicles such as box trucks and flatbeds

- Ability to operate a fork lift or heavy equipment, if required for the job

- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on the vehicle

- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet delivery deadlines

- Strong communication skills and customer service-oriented attitude

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $14.00 per year
