Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the safety, functionality, and appearance of residential or commercial properties. This role offers an opportunity to work independently while contributing significantly to property upkeep and improvement.

Duties

  • Conduct routine inspections of properties to identify repair needs
  • Perform repairs including basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, and drywall work
  • Install fixtures, appliances, and hardware as required
  • Maintain and repair building structures, doors, windows, and flooring
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes
  • Keep work areas clean and organized after completing tasks
  • Collaborate with property managers or clients to prioritize repairs and projects

Skills

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Person or in a similar maintenance role
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and general repairs
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently and effectively
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with clients or team members
  • Valid driver's license is preferred for traveling between sites
  • Nice-to-have skills include familiarity with carpentry, painting, or tile work

This position is ideal for individuals who are proactive, detail-oriented, and enjoy hands-on work. Candidates should be committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety in all tasks performed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $23.00 per hour
