Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their shopping experience
- Assist customers with product demos and answer questions about merchandise
- Upsell products and promote store promotions to enhance sales opportunities
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves and organizing displays
- Manage inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment as needed
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits
- Ensure proper phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely
- Support supervising staff with daily store operations when required
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized store environment
Requirements
- Previous retail sales or customer service experience preferred, especially in grocery or retail stores
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse customers effectively
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a broader customer base
- Experience in supervising or leading small teams is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and product demos is advantageous
- Excellent phone etiquette and upselling skills are essential for success in this role
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations confidently
- A friendly attitude, professional appearance, and strong work ethic are necessary for this position
