Summary:
The Associate Project Manager responsible for communicating project information to stakeholders while monitoring and controlling project scope schedule and budget throughout the life cycle of the project.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing detailed plans for fabrication, installation and validation of production tooling systems.
- Project schedule creation and continued maintenance
- Responds to inquiries from project stakeholders across a global organization
- Develop, monitor, and report project budgets
- Approve and disposition non-conforming products from fabrication, electrical programming, and mechanical design activities
- Coordinate purchasing of components with internal manufacturing, external suppliers and vendors including buy analysis
- Responsible for approval and change of production processes
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology or equivalent experience
- Minimum of two years of experience in manufacturing / engineering related field
- 3D graphics software experience such as SolidWorks, Catia and NX
- Experience in an aerospace or tooling manufacturing environment
Work Authorization/Security Clearance Requirements:
- This position may require a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

- Can multitask and manage multiple large to small projects in a cross functional environment.
- Comfortable working in foreign business environments; must have strong interpersonal skills.
- Creates and maintains complex files and written documents.
- Work in a high energy, high volume, rapidly changing environment.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to plan and set priorities.
- Clear and effective communication skills in both written and spoken forms.
- Understands how to use the computers, including such tasks as turning the computer on and off, locating and opening files, navigate to websites, perform searches, and download files.
- Knowledge of computer applications including email, databases, word-processing program and spreadsheets (such as Microsoft Office).
- Maintains confidentiality while processing and handling confidential information with discretion.
- Defines tasks and milestones to achieve objectives, while ensuring the optimal use of resources to achieve those objectives.
- Works effectively with different levels of management, team members and customers.

- Standard work schedule, overtime may be necessary for meeting deadlines, required travel, and emergent conditions.

- This position may involve travel up to 15% of the time.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds.
- Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with whole hand or arm as in handling.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
