FirstLight Home Care - the premier, non-medical home care agency in the Silicon Valley - is seeking an experienced and passionate Client Intake Specialist. The ideal candidate is a highly-organized, driven professional with a strong sales background and a commitment to serving seniors and adults with disabilities throughout the Bay Area.

PAY: $28 / hr - $30 / hr + GENEROUS COMMISSION POTENTIAL

As a Client Intake Specialist, your main role will be as the first point of contact for our prospective clients, which includes gathering essential information, assessing client needs, and ensuring a smooth on-boarding process. Responsibilities also include:

  • Responsible for managing the service inquiry process through exceptional verbal and written communication skills along with consistent follow-through
  • Responsible for creating a positive first impression and fostering strong relationships with prospective clients; this position requires a high degree of empathy and compassion
  • Responsible for actively working the sales cycle process by utilizing proprietary CRM system and tools, including inputting information throughout the day; this position requires excellent computer skills
  • Responsible for maximizing client conversion rates by nurturing incoming leads as well as pursuing stale leads, including building a prospective client base and immediately responding to inquiries
  • Responsible for digital outreach efforts, including purposeful follow-up of leads to keep the sales cycle active
  • Responsible for clearly understanding the home care industry so you can fully answer questions and support families in need; continue to maintain and enhance our high standards and best in class reputation
  • Responsible for maintaining consistent records and providing regular reporting to senior management; this position is responsible for achieving KPI's

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven track record in sales
  • Understanding of home care industry
  • Ability to interface effectively and professionally with prospective client, including families, physicians, attorneys, etc; ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Ability to work in both a collaborative team environment and an independent, self-motivated environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
