Job Summary

Operate a variety of machines to produce standard quality as indicated by job cards.  Inspect throughout process and pack product in standard containers with proper labeling.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Receive operating instructions from supervisor and understand job cards to produce product in amount needed using automated machinery.
  • Recognize and remove defective product.
  • Use measuring devices for quality assurance.
  • Work at each process using job card system.
  • Ensure correct packing and labeling of product.
  • Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Perform other work as required by supervisor.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED (minimum)

Work Environment

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.  The employee is required to wear appropriate safety protective equipment at the proper times and in the proper environments as required by safety program rules
