About this Opportunity:

As a Quantitative Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for providing money management to multiple product lines, creating research reports which can be used both internally and externally, including analysis of performance attribution. This position also produces communication material, including market commentary and client reviews. As we continue to evolve and live our Orion values, we are looking for someone to grow with us.

For External Candidates:

Candidates must work in-office at one of the following locations for at least 3 days per week: Omaha, NE; Berwyn, PA.

For Internal Candidates:

In this role, you'll get to:

  • Perform research on investment anomalies and trends utilizing quantitative and statistical measurement techniques
  • Manage and enhance proprietary asset class risk models
  • Identify key drivers of tracking error and sources of variance
  • Design and implement highly sampled indexed portfolio to track a stated benchmark or strategy including use of ETFs
  • Program investment processes and runs statistical analysis using Python
  • Develop investment tools in Python and VBA

We're looking for talent who:

  • Has knowledge of portfolio modeling
  • Has knowledge of portfolio optimization, factor-based risk modeling, econometrics, statistical programming, index portfolio management, index & ETF product development
  • Possess effective skills with computer programming languages including R, Python, and MATLAB
  • Has knowledge of risk management tools
  • Has minimum of a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or STEM related field
  • Possess minimum of 2 years of experience in investment management field
  • Preferably has prior experience in quantitative investment management
  • Owns and manages relationships with stakeholders directly and work effectively with people at all levels in an organization

Salary Range:

$104, $162,413.00

The pay listed in this posting indicates the estimated pay at the time of this posting; however, may vary depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
