Make significant updates to existing installations and ensure reliable system operationCalibrate and maintain instruments throughout the plant to ensure accuracy and compliance with process requirementsDesign and update safety, motor, and I/O circuits in alignment with plant and industry standardsPerform PID loop tuning to optimize process control performanceTroubleshoot, install, configure, and commission VFD drives and related controls systemsTroubleshoot and maintain Ethernet/IP infrastructure and industrial networking systems to ensure reliable communication across controls platformsEnsure safe operation and maintenance of electrical and control systemsProviding technical support/skills for equipment troubleshooting and controls/equipment modificationsUnderstanding, initiating, and participating in Root Cause Analysis (Why, Why)Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives to increase platform performanceAssist in training new employeesWhat you have to offer:Minimum of a high school diploma or GEDMust possess the ability to understand and effectively communicate with co-workers, supervisors, and others in the workplace regarding work matters (our business is generally conducted in English)3 + years (minimum) experience in Controls Programming and Industrial Controls Technology or equivalent education in a related field/industryAssociate's degree in or technical certification in Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Automation, or related field preferredKnowledge and practical application with the following technology areas: PLC's, HMI's, process instrumentation, machine control systems, VFD's, power distribution (
