Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our warehouse. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management and logistics, with a focus on process improvement and efficiency. This role is essential in ensuring that our warehouse runs smoothly, meets operational targets, and maintains high standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a team of warehouse staff responsible for equipment handling, including training, delegating tasks, and monitoring daily performance.
  • Ensure a high standard of safety and efficiency in the warehouse.
  • Schedule shifts and assign duties to ensure adequate staffing during peak periods.
  • Maintain accurate records of event equipment inventory, including tracking stock levels, conducting regular stock audits, and ensuring that equipment is in good condition.
  • Monitor inventory movement and track the usage of rental items.
  • Ensure all hardgoods are cleaned, repaired, and ready for rental before events.
  • Inspect hardgoods for any damages or defects and arrange for repairs or replacements as needed.
  • Ensure all items meet safety standards and company quality expectations.
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks and cleaning of all equipment.
  • Work closely with the Operations and Logistics teams to ensure timely loading, transportation, and delivery of hardgoods to events.
  • Coordinate the return, unloading, and storage of equipment after events to ensure items are returned in good condition.
  • Assist with managing the organization and flow of event equipment in the warehouse for efficient access and retrieval.
  • Track and report on equpment inventory and usage for forecasting purposes.
  • Provide daily or weekly reports on inventory levels, damaged items, and any issues affecting operations.
  • Ensure that warehouse operations comply with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Promote a safe work environment by ensuring all team members adhere to safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proficient in inventory management software and basic computer applications.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy items.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
