Athena's Pizza — located at th Ave S, Fargo, ND — is a brand-new, locally owned pizzeria opening later this fall. We're building our team now so training can begin before opening. This is your chance to get in early with a new restaurant that values reliability, teamwork, and a friendly atmosphere.

Athena's Pizza is hiring dependable, fun & friendly Kitchen Team Members to join our crew. Training will be provided based on experience and strengths.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare subs, grilled items, and fried foods to order following Athena's recipes
  • Operate the grill and fryer safely and efficiently
  • Take phone and counter orders accurately and process payments at the register
  • Package and bag takeout and dine-in orders
  • Keep counters, prep surfaces, and the dining area clean and organized
  • Assist with restocking paper goods, condiments, and prep items during downtime
  • Help with open/closing duties
  • Communicate clearly with the kitchen and delivery staff to keep orders running smoothly
  • Prepare pizzas according to order tickets and Athena's recipes
  • Top pizzas accurately and consistently
  • Operate pizza ovens and monitor bake times and quality
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation
  • Assist with daily prep such as cutting vegetables, portioning toppings, and stocking ingredients
  • Help with side duties like folding boxes, cleaning surfaces, and organizing coolers
  • Answer phones or take orders when needed during slower times

Requirements:

  • Comfortable using a POS register and handling cash or cards
  • Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Kitchen or food service experience preferred but not required — willing to train the right person
  • Must be reliable, quick with hands, and able to stay calm under pressure
  • Team player with good communication and attention to detail
  • Evening and weekend availability required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
