We're looking for a reliable and proactive part-time Maintenance Attendant to join our team at Sandpiper Hospitality (SH), one of the fastest-growing companies in the extended stay market. This critical weekend-only role (Saturday and Sunday) ensures our property remains fully operational and welcoming during high-traffic guest days.

You'll be the go-to maintenance expert on weekends—ensuring our guests enjoy a safe, clean, and fully functioning space that reflects our "We Are Inspired – Service" value.

Your Weekend Responsibilities

Preventive & Light Maintenance:

Perform light repairs and preventative maintenance on the property's interior and exterior, ensuring our standards are upheld even during weekend operations.

Plumbing & Electrical Support:

Tackle light plumbing (toilets, faucets, minor clogs) and basic electrical (switch/outlet replacement) work.

Room Turnovers & Inspections:

Assist in refreshing studios post-checkout with painting, caulking, and minor touch-ups. Identify potential pest concerns and report them promptly.

Common Areas & Grounds:

Ensure public spaces remain clean and functional—including parking areas and building entrances.

On-Call Support:

Be available for weekend emergencies. Time spent responding will be considered active working hours.

Team Collaboration:

Work alongside hotel leadership to support any maintenance priorities or housekeeping assistance if needed.

Qualifications – What You Bring

Must-Haves:

  • Hands-on skills in light plumbing, painting, electrical, and general property upkeep.
  • Dependability and strong sense of urgency, especially when working independently.
  • Willingness to occasionally assist with light housekeeping or laundry as needed.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Previous maintenance experience in hotels or residential properties.
  • Comfort using commercial cleaning tools like carpet machines.
