Overview

We are seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, assisting customers with product selections, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, retail experience, and a passion for helping customers find what they need. Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve our diverse clientele. This position offers an opportunity to develop sales skills and gain valuable experience in a dynamic retail environment.

Duties

  • Must be able to work independently and stay motivated
  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries
  • Operate SQUARE POS systems efficiently for sales transactions and cash handling
  • Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits
  • Upsell products and promote special offers to increase sales
  • Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked
  • Assist with inventory management, including stocking and organizing merchandise
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions and resolving concerns
  • Handle cashiering duties accurately, including processing returns and exchanges
  • Maintain phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries

Requirements

  • MUST BE ABLE TO CLAIM STAIRS AND CARRY BOXES DOWN.
  • Previous retail sales experience required
  • Must be available night and weekends
  • Familiarity with Square systems a plus
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse customers
  • Basic math skills for transactions, inventory counts, and sales calculations
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
