Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP SuccessFactors (SF) Onboarding Consultant to support an enterprise onboarding program. The ideal consultant is senior-level and can operate as a Solution Architect (Sol Arch) while also serving as a Project Manager (PM)/Delivery Lead—driving solution design, stakeholder alignment, and end-to-end delivery.

This is a consulting role requiring strong functional expertise in SuccessFactors, proven client-facing delivery experience, and hands-on integration experience with third-party systems supporting onboarding and provisioning workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding (ONB 2.0) implementation activities including discovery, requirements, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment support.
  • Serve as the primary Solution Architect (Sol Arch) for the workstream: design scalable, compliant, and supportable onboarding processes aligned to business needs and SF best practices.
  • Act as PM/Workstream Lead as needed: manage plan, milestones, risks/issues, dependencies, and provide executive-ready status updates.
  • Partner with HR, IT, Security, and external vendors to ensure cross-functional alignment and smooth delivery.
  • Drive and support integrations with third-party systems, including background check platforms and provisioning/IT service tools used during onboarding.
  • Support UAT planning/execution, defect triage, and hypercare stabilization.
  • Produce high-quality consulting deliverables: functional specs, configuration workbooks, process documentation, integration mappings, and knowledge transfer materials.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of SAP SuccessFactors consulting experience, with hands-on delivery in enterprise environments.
  • Strong experience with SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding (ONB 2.0) (Recruiting and/or Employee Central exposure is a plus).
  • Proven experience operating as a Solution Architect and/or senior lead consultant on SF programs.
  • Ability to serve as a PM/Delivery Lead (or combine Sol Arch + PM responsibilities) with strong ownership of scope, timeline, and outcomes.
  • Excellent client-facing consulting skills: communication, stakeholder management, documentation, and delivery leadership.

Certifications (Preferred / Strongly Preferred)

  • SAP SuccessFactors certifications (SF Certifications), especially in Onboarding, Employee Central, Recruiting, or related modules.

Integration Experience (Required / Strongly Preferred)

Candidates should have demonstrated integration experience with third-party systems such as:

  • Background check integrations, including compliance platforms like CDL Clearinghouse (or similar)
  • ET provisioning tools and identity/access enablement solutions such as Active Directory
  • IT service management / ticketing tools such as Freshservice (Fresh Service) or equivalent tools

Preferred technical exposure includes API-based integrations, file/SFTP integrations, middleware coordination, and integration troubleshooting/monitoring.

  • Able to translate business requirements into system design and implementation plans
  • Experienced with complex stakeholder environments and cross-team coordination
