EnProVera is seeking a COMSEC Security Analyst (Information Security Specialist). The Security Analyst is responsible for maintaining full accountability and control of all COMSEC hardware and keying material to ensure the integrity of secure communications systems. This role provides comprehensive network and intrusion detection support, manages encryption and keying requirements, and ensures compliance with NSA policies and procedures. The analyst performs end-user sustainment, develops training programs for COMSEC users, and supports the overall information security posture of the organization. The position requires strong technical skills in network security technologies, KMI certification, Security+ credentialing, and an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
Position Responsibilities:
Maintain 100% accountability of COMSEC hardware and electronic keying material including the receipt, custody, issuance, safeguarding, accounting, and destruction of COMSEC material.
Responsible for providing intrusion detection, prevention, and network security monitoring support for a variety of security technologies.
Ensure all equipment is using current, non-superseded keying material.
Order COMSEC material and keys when needed to support existing equipment, new equipment, or new operational needs.
Perform end-user maintenance and sustainment for COMSEC equipment, including battery changes and charging, uploading audit logs, and device user account management.
Develop and implement programs, procedures, and processes to ensure all COMSEC users are properly trained.
Required Skills and Experience:
B.A. or B.S. in related field with two (2) years network security services experience, with an additional year of experience with general information technology support. Degree may be substituted with three additional years of network security services experience.
Network security services experience should include a working knowledge of at least three of the following networking and network security devices/software: routers, firewalls, encryption, network and/or host-based intrusion detection, intrusion prevention, security information management, anti-virus, vulnerability management, and patch management.
Knowledgeable about the National Security Agency (NSA) policies and accounting procedures required for coordinating customers' requirements and resolving COMSEC matters.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Security+ certification.
KMI certified.
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift up to 25lbs without assistance- includes walking, bending, twisting, and performing a variety of other physical functions on a consistent basis.
Required Security:
US Citizenship.
Must be Top Secret cleared and be SCI eligible upon hiring. CI polygraph preferred.
Must successfully pass the FBI administered Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph or have a CI polygraph from a federal agency acceptable to the FBI within five (5) years.
