Position Summary:

DEEM, LLC is seeking experienced HVAC Service Technicians in the Miami, FL area. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of effectively identifying, diagnosing, and resolving HVAC issues before they escalate. As a skilled HVAC Service Technician, you will contribute to our commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the efficiency and longevity of HVAC systems.

DEEM, LLC is a commercial mechanical and electrical company offering HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Refrigeration, Industrial Piping, Building Automation, and Sheet Metal Installation and services. We are centrally located in Indianapolis, Indiana with satellite offices throughout the Midwest down to the southeastern United States.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on various HVAC systems, including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, boilers, and ventilation systems.
  • Inspect, clean, and lubricate components to ensure optimal system performance and energy efficiency.
  • Identify potential problems and recommend appropriate corrective actions to prevent system breakdowns.
  • Conduct thorough system assessments and provide detailed reports on system health and performance.
  • Replace or repair faulty components and parts to prevent future malfunctions.
  • Collaborate with team members to schedule maintenance appointments and ensure timely service delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry advancements, best practices, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or HVAC certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HVAC service technician.
  • EPA certification required.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must pass background check and drug screening
  • Valid driver's license with a clean, insurable record (must be 21 or older for insurance purposes)

Physical Requirements:

  • Work prolonged hours and in confined areas
  • Work in extreme temperatures (–20°F to 120°F)
  • Wear full PPE (hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, etc.)
  • Climb ladders and operate aerial lifts
  • Lift/carry 50+ lbs (help required for heavier loads)
  • Push/pull up to 120+ lbs
  • Perform physical tasks such as bending, crouching, reaching, and crawling
  • Drive using both hands and feet
