Position Title: Hiring/Onboarding Assistant

Position Summary:

The Hiring and Onboarding Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting our company by coordinating recruitment logistics, assisting with candidate communications, and overseeing various aspects of the onboarding process. This position requires strong organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, such as the mortgage industry. We are seeking a highly motivated, ethical team player who is looking to be part of a company with a great future in lending. Key Responsibilities:

  • Post and manage job listings across multiple platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, job boards, ATS).
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Ensure all pre-employment requirements are completed in a timely manner.
  • Organize new hire orientation and coordinate with relevant departments (IT, Training, Payroll).
  • Set up new hires in internal systems and maintain employee files.
  • Act as the main point of contact for new hires during their onboarding period.
  • Support audits and reporting needs related to hiring and onboarding activities.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Preferred:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
