Job Description
Junior Analyst, Data Intelligence
As a Junior Analyst at Zeno, you will be straddling the intersection between numbers and messages. You will learn to utilize tools and strategies to translate news, raw data, and information into valuable business insights and optimization suggestions. In addition, you will work closely with PR workstreams in order to implement data-driven recommendations generated through proprietary in-house learnings at scale and across multiple clients. Our work is ultimately aimed at guiding strategic decisions for clients, uncovering insights and real-time optimization opportunities that impact the bottom line.

About The Role

• Blend traditional measurement analytics with high-impact monitoring work.
• Learn and use industry-leading tools and resourceful thinking to find and aggregate breaking news, data, and information.
• Assist your team with translating that raw information into savvy intelligence for clients and account teams by way of briefs, newsletters, crisis alerts, and traditional reporting.
• Work in lockstep with the digital and account teams.
• Interact with every facet of the organization and, at times, clients as well.
• Learn about PR and Integrated Communications and the role data plays in making informed decisions.

About You

• 0-2 years of experience.
• Willing to learn how to leverage information from a bevy of sources to best assist with the analyzing of the problem.
• Strong appetite for reading and very strong writing skills – able to digest large amounts of information quickly.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Basic experience with digital tools, like: Cision, MuckRack, Talkwalker, PeakMetrics, Google Analytics, NewsWhip, SEMRush, etc.
• Experience in Microsoft Office applications with specific experience in Excel (i.e. pivot tables, advanced functions, formulas, filtering, etc.)
• Burgeoning problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities.
• Basic understanding of marketing and the various metrics that come with them, a plus.
• Basic knowledge of data mining principles: predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems, a plus.
• Experience with measurement, media planning and media mix modeling, a plus.

Pay Range: $55,000-$ 60,000 USD/yr
An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
