Duties include supervising program staff and ensuring that services are provided according to best practice standards that promote client recovery.Schedule: Full-Time, Flexible SchedulingLocation: Wyomissing, PAProgram: Residential Mental Health ProgramSalary: $55,000-60,000/yearJob Duties:Manage all psycho-social services for behavioral health clientsEffectively implement program goals regarding service deliveryMaintain adequate staffing to ensure efficient and quality services and the maintenance of program needsProvide direct supervision to program staff, individually and group-based, on a regular basisMaintain 24-hour availability to program staff and management for emergency consultationProvide backup supervisory support to other programs, as neededProvide direct service to clients as neededEnsure all program services are compliant with recovery principles and cultural competency principlesProvide staff and clients with information regarding access to community resources, facilitating access as necessaryMake prompt referrals to appropriate levels of care when the program is unable to handle client needs or in crisis situationsAbility to supervise direct service staff in a psychosocial service programDemonstrate knowledge of the basic principles and aims of counselingMaintain effectiveness in providing all authorized client services and providing supporting documentation for re-authorizations, as necessary, in a timely mannerObtain and submit time cards, billing forms, and all necessary clinical documentation from all staff on the established scheduleVerify the accuracy of all payroll and billing documentation prior to submissionSubmit only valid and reasonable program expense reimbursement requests in a timely mannerInterface with the Accounting Department, as needed, to resolve billing problems that require program interventionEnsure that program service delivery and program operating costs are within budgeted parametersMonitor program spending and minimize all unnecessary program costsMonitor an inventory of all program equipment, furnishings, and other property; reporting any need for replacement or repair in a timely mannerAbility to oversee the full provision of clinically indicated servicesMaintain program in full compliance with all applicable licensing standards, contractual requirements, and all agency policiesAssist supervisor in evaluating program effectiveness and developing an annual program planDemonstrate knowledge of the standards and ethical principles of the best practice of behavioral healthcare relevant to their programMaintain documentation of program compliance with Performance Improvement indicators, census, and other utilization dataAssist supervisor in evaluating program effectiveness and developing annual program plan. Maintain documentation of program compliance with Performance Improvement indicators, census, and other utilization dataAbility to maintain effective and efficient communication with direct supervisorReport to direct supervisor, and other administrative staff as required, in a timely and comprehensive mannerConduct regular program staff meetings and continual evaluation of the program and develop strategies to implement performance improvement activities as indicatedReport incidents through the incident management system in a timely and effective mannerMaintain professional relationships with clients, payers, and community support service representatives and agencies.
