This position is contingent upon successful contract award.
Prevailance is seeking an experienced and mission-focused professional to serve as a Senior-Level Operational Analyst providing Technical SME - IAMD for the Commander, Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center (SMWDC). In this role, you will provide tactical and operational expertise to enhance the readiness and effectiveness of the Surface Force across multiple warfare domains. Travel may be required.

Support Locations:
This role provides support across various SMWDC sites, including:
- SMWDC Headquarters, San Diego, CA
- Mine Warfare (MIW) Division, San Diego, CA
- Sea Combat (SC) Division, San Diego, CA
- Integrated Air & Missile Defense (IAMD) Division, Dahlgren, VA
- Amphibious Warfare (AMW) Division, Little Creek, VA
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Provide expertise in combat systems, C5I networks, and weapon systems to ensure operational readiness
- Plan and coordinate combat system operations within Strike Groups, Fleets, or Major Training Commands
- Support systems testing and ensure combat system effectiveness in military organizations
- Lead operations as a Joint Interface Control Officer (JICO) or Carrier Group Integrated Control Officer (CG ICO) during Carrier Strike Group deployments
- Evaluate war-fighting readiness, capabilities, and system performance using qualitative and quantitative methods
- Create reports and presentations on operational readiness using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word, Access)
- Mentor junior personnel and provide leadership in mission planning and execution
- Work with senior leadership to align operations with strategic goals
Requirements
Experience:
- Minimum 12 years of military experience, and/or relevant industry and/or government experience with the surface navy's combat systems, C5I, networks, weapons systems and IAMD planning tools/systems
- Minimum five (5) years of experience aboard Navy cruisers, destroyers, frigates or within qualified Department of Defense warfare areas
- Qualified and experienced in a watch station with the authority to employ the Aegis Weapon System (i.e. Tactical Action Officer (TAO), Air Warfare Coordinator (AAWC), Battle Watch Captain)
- Possess a Tactical Action Officer Qualification letter or BMD Watch Officer qualification letter
- Experience in Navy Combat Systems development
- Experience in Rapid Capability Development process
- Experience in Review and Collaboration on Navy Technical Documentation
- Experience and understanding of Navy T&E process
- Understanding of DOTMLPF Process
Preferred Attributes
- Strong analytical skills to assess and improve tactical training and operational strategies
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities for interfacing with Navy leadership and cross-functional teams
Security Clearance:
- Possess current Security Clearance of SECRET and TS//SCI eligible
