The Supply Chain Manager role, located on site in Concord, NH, will be responsible for leading the Purchasing and Warehousing functions within the Standex Electronics Supply Chain organization. The manager will lead a team of Buyers and Warehouse associates and set clear roles/responsibilities, communicate the deliverable metrics for success, and drive accountability and results. The leader will have direct reports and indirect reports.
What You'll Do
Leadership
- Manage the Purchasing organization, including Direct and Indirect Materials
- Manage the Warehouse organization, including a Direct Warehouse Manager and (5) associates
- Ensure Standard Work is present and adequate for all warehousing, purchasing, and cost control activities.
- Working with HR, set training and development plans for associates needing support or looking to develop.
- Support Site Leader with key initiatives, including Procuring Materials, supporting kaizens etc.
Metrics
- Deliver Key KPIs, including Vendor Quality, Vendor OTD, Inventory levels, and Cost savings
- Develop funnel of action items with Sr. Mgr. Sourcing to deliver KPIs, including PPV, Indirect, and Freight.
- Review, modify, and execute Roles & Responsibilities (RACI) activity to deliver clear boundaries by dept.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring
- 5 years managing purchasing associates in a manufacturing environment
- 5-10 years in a Supply Chain organization, preferably in Buying & Warehousing
- Demonstrated history of delivering YoY cost savings through collaboration and creativity.
