Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Non-Commercial Driver's License Driver to operate various vehicles for transportation, delivery, and logistical purposes. The ideal candidate will possess a valid non-commercial driver's license and have a strong driving record. This role involves safely navigating different vehicle types, including box trucks, shuttle buses, and other commercial vehicles, to support our operational needs. Candidates with experience in shuttle driving, delivery routes, or warehouse logistics are encouraged to apply. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with potential for skill development in vehicle operation and logistics management.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a variety of non-commercial vehicles such as box trucks, shuttle buses, and other designated fleet vehicles.
  • Transport passengers or cargo efficiently and securely to designated locations following established routes and schedules.
  • Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks or manual handling techniques.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance needs.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, or team members regarding schedules, delays, or issues during transit.
  • Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols to ensure the safety of passengers, cargo, and other road users.
  • Assist with minor vehicle maintenance or mechanical troubleshooting when necessary.

Skills

  • Valid non-commercial driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Experience operating various types of commercial vehicles such as box trucks, shuttle buses, or similar equipment.
  • Knowledge of vehicle safety inspections and basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to load & unload cargo efficiently using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual techniques.
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients.
  • Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems for timely deliveries or pickups.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy items and perform manual handling tasks as required.
  • Experience with heavy equipment operation or warehouse logistics is a plus but not mandatory. This position requires a dedicated professional committed to safety and efficiency in transportation operations while providing excellent service delivery across various logistical functions.
