Ridge IT is seeking a dynamic sales development representative for business-to-business sales in our rapidly growing technology focused company. What we are looking for:

Ridge IT is seeking a professional who:

  • Finds self-development critical to advancement within their sales career path.
  • Understands how to interact with leads and develop use cases for the technology solutions.
  • Ability to quickly identify pain points within a client organization to qualify potential clients.
  • A history of setting first meetings and moving clients through the sales pipeline.
  • Experience using tools to assist in market research to target the correct segments with our technology.
  • Knows how to build a strong pipeline using cold calling techniques and targeted emails.
  • Background with SaaS solutions and/or software sales with the ability to quickly understand base functionality and offerings.

The position:

Your primary goals in this position is to:

  • Cold call to Identify new leads and expand the existing sales pipeline.
  • Conduct initial meetings with the objective of qualifying leads into opportunities.
  • Hand off opportunities to specialists with key information required to progress through closing.
  • Update the CRM with all required information.
  • Learn and achieve base sales certifications in software solutions as required.

  • Enjoys learning new technology products.
  • Has goals in their career and is relentless in perusing them.
  • Ability to work from home without distractions.
  • Has worked in call center or SDR before.

The work:

The daily tasks will be cold calling defined market segments to introduce potential clients to our technology solutions and set an initial introductory meeting. Takes a multiple touch point approach to potential clients and updates the CRM with key information. This role with experience often transitions into conducting each introductory meeting to successfully identify pain points within the client organization, a use case for one or more of our solutions, and set a follow-up meeting to deep dive into the solution.

Specific Skills:

  • Strong cold calling skills with the capability to set appointments that lead to low cancel rates.
  • Active listening.
  • Conceptual understanding of technology and SaaS solutions.
  • Experience organizing and updating CRM systems.

Added Bonus Skills:

  • Negotiation skills and/or certifications.
  • Specific experience working as an SDR with a SaaS provider.
  • Certifications in any SaaS technology.
  • Experience using Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years as an SDR in a cold calling environment or sales experience accompanied by a college degree.
  • Proven track record in building a sales pipeline.
  • Excellent ability to multitask and prioritize a workload
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A strong drive towards quality, efficiency, problem solving, and timeliness
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
