Job Description

We're seeking a detail-oriented and systems-minded Accounting Professional to help build and strengthen our financial operations within a growing manufacturing environment. This role sits at the center of daily accounting, reporting, and process improvement—supporting leadership with accurate data and actionable insights. You'll work across departments to improve visibility into costs, cash flow, and performance, while helping establish a strong foundation for scalability.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured-yet-growing environment—comfortable handling daily accounting work but motivated by opportunities to improve systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Support the company's daily accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Assist with developing and maintaining cash flow forecasts, budget-to-actual tracking, and treasury schedules.
• Help build structure around cost accounting, including labor, materials, and overhead tracking in a manufacturing setting.
• Participate in ERP implementation and optimization (Odoo or similar), ensuring data integrity and cross-department visibility.
• Collaborate with purchasing, operations, and leadership to ensure timely and accurate cost data.
• Develop or support key financial reports and dashboards in Excel or Power BI.
• Participate in monthly closes, variance reviews, and ongoing process improvement initiatives.
• Support the creation and documentation of accounting procedures, controls, and workflows.
• Engage with leadership to help establish meaningful financial KPIs that guide operational decision-making.

QualificationsRequired (Must-Have)

• 3–5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or cost analysis (manufacturing experience preferred).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Excel and comfort working with data-driven tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
• Working knowledge of GAAP, account reconciliation, and financial reporting.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with purchasing, operations, and management.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• High degree of personal integrity, reliability, and initiative.

Preferred (Nice-to-Have)

• Experience supporting or leading an ERP system implementation (Odoo, NetSuite, etc.).
• Familiarity with manufacturing cost accounting concepts (BOMs, variance analysis, inventory costing).
• Exposure to cash flow forecasting and treasury management.
• Experience creating or improving departmental processes and internal controls.
• MBA, CPA, CMA, or similar education/certification a plus.
