Job Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Marijuana Budtender to join our team. As a Budtender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while assisting clients in selecting the right cannabis products to meet their needs. This position requires a strong understanding of cannabis strains, products, and their effects, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with customers.

Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and provide them with a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Assist customers in selecting cannabis products based on their preferences and needs.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of various strains, products, and their effects to provide accurate information.
  • Process sales transactions efficiently using a cash register and handle cash responsibly.
  • Stock shelves and ensure that the display of products is organized and visually appealing.
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns.
  • Educate customers about responsible use and legal regulations surrounding cannabis.
  • Supervise junior staff members when necessary to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
  • Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products effectively.
  • Bilingual candidates are highly desirable to cater to a diverse clientele.
  • Experience with cash handling and operating cash registers is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A passion for cannabis culture and knowledge of its various applications is a plus.
  • Must be at least 21 years old in accordance with state regulations.
