Job Summary:

Are you an experienced and reliable Security Officer looking for a new and exciting experience? Ocean City Security is currently seeking skilled unarmed security officers for the Bar/Restaurant scene on the campus of the University of Florida

Responsibilities include:

- Monitor assigned zones in establishment to deter any prohibited behavior

- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors and other persons

- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential security risks or breaches

- Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances or isuues in the establishment

- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of any security-related - incidents

- Provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors, and provide assistance and guidance when needed

- Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times

- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies in the event of an emergency or criminal activity

- Work closely with bar management team to ensure a safe and secure social environment

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in security-related fields is a plus

  • Two years' proven experience as an unarmed security officer
  • Must be reliable and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively
  • Knowledge of CPR, first aid, and other emergency response procedures

  • Strong attention to detail and observational skills

  • Understanding of loss prevention techniques and practices

  • Ability to stand or walk for long periods
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
