Job Description

As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Thief River Falls, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal in the dynamic aerospace and defense environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and promoting a welcoming atmosphere. You will routinely conduct patrols throughout the location, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the overall security-related needs of the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor access points and assist visitors or employees with entry procedures as required for the location.
  • Document and report any unusual observations, incidents, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.
  • Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and location staff to maintain a secure environment.
  • Follow all Allied Universal protocols and any additional site-specific requirements while performing assigned duties in the aerospace or defense environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
