Join our Commercial Real Estate team as a Commercial Loan Coordinator and play a key role in supporting our lending operations.
As a Commercial Loan Coordinator in the Commercial Real Estate department, you will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of loan files, manage your pipeline effectively, and collaborate with various teams to support our operations. You will be responsible for processing and reviewing multi-family and commercial loan files, maintaining compliance with federal lending regulations, and partnering with stakeholders to meet service level agreements. Your attention to detail and strong communication skills will help drive quality results in a high-volume environment. You will have the opportunity to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and contribute to the success of our team. Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with current federal lending regulations and internal controls for accuracy, timeliness, and documentation
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Act as intermediary between sales, credit, and closing partners
- Manage a pipeline of loans at various stages, including initial file review, submission to underwriting, and submission to closing
- Maintain a balance of producing quality work with a high-volume workload
- Respond to department-specific questions in a timely and accurate manner
- Review and process multi-family and commercial loan files
- Collaborate with various teams to support operational efficiency
- Monitor loan documentation for completeness and accuracy
- Support the implementation of process improvements
- Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive documents
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to resolve complex issues with minimal direction
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work autonomously, manage time effectively, and prioritize work to meet deadlines
- Strong business communication skills; able to write and speak clearly and professionally for a variety of stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to establish credibility and rapport with internal and external stakeholders
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and professionally handle sensitive documents
- Effective time management skills
- Experience with real estate and entity formations
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in commercial real estate lending or loan processing
- Familiarity with federal lending regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and loan management systems
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience working in a high-volume environment
- Ability to contribute to process improvement initiatives
