Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented House Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in residential spaces, ensuring a welcoming environment for clients. This role requires a strong commitment to quality service, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while managing time effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough cleaning of residential properties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Execute floor care tasks such as sweeping, waxing, and polishing floors to maintain their appearance.
  • Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothes and linens.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs and preferences during cleaning sessions.
  • Maintain cleanliness in kitchens and bathrooms by ensuring proper sanitation practices are followed.
  • Assist with light cooking as needed, following client specifications for meal preparation.
  • Utilize appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment safely and effectively.
  • Manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within designated time frames.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during cleaning duties.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in residential cleaning or custodial roles is preferred; experience in commercial cleaning or hotel environments is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor towards clients.
  • Familiarity with floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and general maintenance of various surfaces.
  • Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail to ensure high-quality results in all tasks performed.
