Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Intake Representative. As an Intake Representative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient intake process for our patients. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced pharmacy.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in English

  • Spanish or Russian language preferred

  • Ready to work, ready to learn

  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate data entry and documentation
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Duties:

- Check-in prescriptions, ensuring accurate demographic and insurance information is obtained

- Collect and verify insurance information, including obtaining authorizations when necessary

- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from patients and providers, providing exceptional customer service

- Enter patient data into electronic medical records systems

- Coordinate with other departments or healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care

- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
