POSITION SUMMARY

We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician.

Our technicians apply methods, best practices, and procedures in preventative maintenance, inspection, diagnostics and repair, of buildings, utilities, equipment and machinery.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Install, modify, maintain, repair & operate for function checks on all production equipment and machinery, forklifts, power tools and other equipment.

Coordinate work activities for other maintenance staff via (HIPPO) the LMI CMMS platform in support of facility requirements as directed by the facilities manager.

Ensure the correct parts and tools are in place for technicians to complete task.

Oversee scheduled task and maintain alignment with overall goals of production processes and the maintenance department.

Perform building and facility plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems maintenance repairs, improvements and routine maintenance.

Schedule and work with contractors as directed by facilities manger in support of production machinery and site requirements.

Complete required paperwork and documentation as directed by the facilities manager in accordance with the CMMS platform.

Maintain technical records via the Equipment Library and Inventory matrix.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCES

High school diploma or high school equivalency preferred. Candidates that do not have a high school diploma or high school equivalency will be required to take a pre-employment assessment to be considered for the role. Trade school in Industrial mechanical & electrical trades are a plus.

Ability to apply logical thinking to ensure task are completed in the safest most cost-effective manner.

Ability to seek help and ask questions in order to achieve goals in a timely and efficient manner.

Knowledge of robotics, and PLC logic is a plus.

Knowledge of the National Electrical Code and techniques and procedures are a plus.

Ability to safely operate lift equipment to perform aerial work and lift heavy objects.

Ability to diagnose problems, find solutions and implement all measures to prevent reoccurrence.

Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.

Must be able to read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, schematics and drawings.

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time

Noise levels ranging from quiet to extremely loud

Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when working on the manufacturing floor including, but not limited to, eye, ear, and foot protection

May occasionally lift and /or move up to 10-50 pounds
