POSITION:
Special Education and/or Municipal Associate Attorney

BILLABLES:
1800 hours - If attorneys hit their hourly minimum 1800 hours, they receive a $3000 bonus, if they hit 1950 hrs. they receive a $5000 bonus.

What You'll Do
You'll counsel and represent public school districts on a wide range of legal matters, including:

  • Special Education Law (IDEA, Section 504 - minimum 3 years' experience required)
  • Student Rights, Policies & Discipline
  • School Employment & Labor Law
  • Construction & Facility Planning
  • Financial Solutions for Districts
  • Collective Bargaining Negotiations
  • Governance for School Boards & Administrators

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Active Pennsylvania bar license
  • 3-5 years' experience in education or public sector law
  • Must have 3+ years of Special Education law experience or Municipal Law
  • Excellent writing, advocacy, and problem-solving skills
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive attitude
