Job Title: Administrator-SNF

FLSA: Exempt

Job Scope:

The duties and responsibilities of the Administrator-SNF include performing a variety of tasks associated

with creating a fulfilling resident experience, including resident care coordination, teammate oversight,

and regulatory reporting and compliance for the Skilled Nursing area of the Community.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all department heads to ensure the community is operating according to standards

and in compliance with regulatory guidelines.

  • Implement department budget and approve or deny expenditures based on the allocations set

by the ED.

  • Oversees staffing to ensure appropriate resident care and ensure the applicable state

licensure and certification standards are met.

  • Oversees employee life cycle, including pre-hire screenings, onboarding, performance

management, and maintaining a positive employee experience.

  • Investigate complaints, document findings, and review with ED; reports to regulatory agencies,

where applicable.

  • Organize information/data to identify/explain major trends, problems and causes;

Compare and combine information to identify underlying issues. Generate actions to

achieve long-range goals.

  • Participate in development of the business plan and oversee its execution, adjusting as

necessary.

  • Establish and adhere to Community criteria and/or work procedures to achieve a high level

of resident satisfaction.

  • Ensure documentation of care and services provided is accurate and timely.
  • Oversee teammate performance and identify training and development opportunities to

comply with state regulations.

  • Review, intervene, and report complaints and grievances made by residents, families,

visitors, and agencies, in accordance with state regulations.

  • Maintain community at or above budgeted occupancy; actively participate in the sales

process.

  • Creates a positive experience through interaction for all visitors, potential residents,

residents, and the public.

  • Participates in ongoing training and in-services for improving knowledge and updating

skills.

  • Foster teamwork with co-workers, show initiative in overcoming obstacles, take actions that

assist others beyond job responsibilities, and have a positive impact on co-workers, residents,

and visitors.
