Night Auditor

Job Summary

The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during overnight hours. This position is responsible for managing front desk operations, providing exceptional guest services, and performing accounting tasks to ensure accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a background in hospitality management, and the ability to handle various responsibilities with professionalism and efficiency.

Duties

• Manage front desk operations during the night shift, including check-ins and check-outs.
• Provide outstanding guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a pleasant stay for all guests.
• Perform nightly audits of financial transactions, including balancing cash drawers and reconciling accounts.
• Utilize phone systems to communicate effectively with guests and staff.
• Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions in the hotel management system.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed, such as preparing reports and handling correspondence.
• Ensure the security of the hotel premises during overnight hours by monitoring surveillance systems and conducting regular checks.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a hotel or resort environment is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Familiarity with hospitality management principles and practices.
• Proficiency in using front desk software and phone systems.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in all tasks.
• Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining professionalism.
• A background in accounting or finance is beneficial but not mandatory.
