Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for food service, and a commitment to providing exceptional dining experiences. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Supervise daily restaurant operations and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Train, mentor, and develop staff to enhance their skills in food service and customer interaction.
- Oversee kitchen operations, including food production and culinary presentation.
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain kitchen efficiency.
- Conduct interviews and hire new staff members to build a strong team.
- Implement effective staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to maintain satisfaction.
- Collaborate with chefs to create innovative menu items that reflect current trends.
- Monitor financial performance and implement strategies for cost control.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service management or a similar role within the restaurant industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Experience in staff training, bartending, interviewing, and kitchen operations is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering high-quality dining experiences.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by restaurant operations.
