Job Description
We're hiring a Digital Coordinator to support our growing digital practice, an integral part of S&W's direct response team.
In this entry-level role, you'll work with our team members and nonprofit clients to create and launch the digital components of multichannel fundraising, advocacy and membership campaigns—including strategy, creative development, production and deployment.
Role
The Digital Coordinator will join a team that is creative, collaborative, and supportive. In this role, our team will mentor you as you grow and expand your knowledge of:
- How to build, foster, and maintain an audience's participation in our clients' digital efforts
- How to think both creatively and analytically: as you grow at S&W, you'll use curiosity and insight to understand, improve, and push the boundaries of what's possible in a digital program
- How to create engaging, voice-driven content—including emails, social media content, SMS campaigns, landing/conversion pages, online advertising, and web content
- How to create content that's tailored to both an audience's and an organization's goals
- How content, user experience, and user design work in concert to achieve tangible campaign-based and organizational goals
- How to integrate digital program elements into the larger organizational efforts of our clients
This position is perfect for someone who is organized, manages their time effectively, has attention to detail, and an ability to take on multiple projects. Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and an ability to build and strengthen client relationships are keys to success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Lead the coordination between team members, S&W partners, and clients to create and deliver all elements of our digital campaigns
- Generate and maintain client project schedules, update campaign plans, and track all digital work in progress
- Assist with brainstorming, campaign execution, and interpreting results/campaign performance
- Assist with writing draft campaign plans memos, and performance reports for clients
- Assist with copywriting, editing, and reviewing draft content and designs
- Assist with populating content within mass email systems and distribution channels
- Assist with placing and deploying targeted online advertising, including banner, search and social media ads
- Assist with proofreading and quality assurance testing of campaign elements to ensure campaigns are ready for successful launches

- Ability to take on multiple projects with key deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Passion for the missions and the work of national, international, and local nonprofit organizations
- Customer/client service experience a plus
- Interest in digital advertising a plus
Experience
- Relevant studies or internships transferrable to a digital role in fundraising, nonprofit communications, and philanthropic marketing
