Job Overview

As a Host/Busser, you will be the welcoming face of our establishment, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience. Your vibrant personality and outstanding communication skills will create a warm atmosphere for our guests as you manage reservations, greet patrons, and ensure smooth seating arrangements. You'll play a crucial role in guest relations, making every visitor feel valued and appreciated.

What you'll do

  • Greet guests with enthusiasm and professionalism, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Manage reservations efficiently using our Point of Sale (POS) systems, including Aloha POS and Micros POS.
  • Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize flow and maintain a welcoming environment.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any concerns promptly.
  • Collaborate with the serving staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the host area, creating an inviting space for guests.
  • Uphold high standards of hospitality by demonstrating phone etiquette when handling reservations or inquiries.

Basic qualifications

  • Previous host/host experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in food service or hospitality industries.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with guests and team members.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
