Busy and Unique Podiatry practice is seeking a Medical Back Office Assistant

This could be a great role for a pre-med student in their gap year

We currently have 2 locations, in Chandler and Gilbert & expanding to a third location in the beginning of January 2026.

Medical Assistants must be willing to travel between the locations, schedule set by practice manager.

Preferred Foot & Ankle/ Pediatric Foot & Ankle is a smoke free environment.

All Employees are subject to a Drug Test.

This position will be responsible for assisting the provider with patients in the back office while providing an excellent experience for the patients. The office team is professional, service driven and has a great time delivering excellent care to the community.

Back office Medical assistant is REQUIRED pass a Podiatry X-Ray certification within 90 days of hire. Preferred Foot and Ankle & Pediatric Foot and Ankle will pay for certification/test/materials upon hire.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have a positive attitude and teamwork mentality
  • Must be respectful to management and staff
  • Spanish speaking is a plus
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. AA Degree preferred.
  • Certificate in Medical Assisting not required- willing to train the right person

Minimum Skills/Job Description:

  • EMR/Computerized Practice Management System
  • Room patients, obtain vitals and histories, chief complaint, medications, allergies, review of systems.
  • Set up procedure trays/injections.
  • Assist provider with office procedures.
  • Casting for orthotics/Fiberglass casts
  • Order/maintain supplies and track inventory.
  • Maintain and clean rooms/office and stock exam rooms.

This is a FULL TIME (40 HOUR) position - Hours may vary based on appointment schedule.

Pay: $ $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
