Compensation:

  • PM Shift: $20.76 per hour plus tips.
  • Overnight Shift: $20.76 per hour plus $2/hr. shift ($23.69) differential plus tips.

Work Schedule: PM or Overnight Shift

Job Summary: As a Valet Attendant at Menbot Solutions, you will provide exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner. Your primary responsibility will be parking and retrieving guest vehicles promptly and safely. Additionally, you will assist guests with luggage and offer support during their arrival and departure.

Essential Functions:

  • Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients. Greet guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor, using guest last names during interactions.
  • Use the salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location. Practice proper phone etiquette and post up in designated areas when not completing tasks.
  • Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously. Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed. Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests.
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and other inquiries. Provide information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and main attractions in the area. Deliver messages, items, and amenities as requested. Shuttle guests to approved locations.
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival. Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks from all guests before issuing keys. Complete and maintain all ticket information, including key tags, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey, and claim check receipt. Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED Preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a criminal background and drug screen.
  • Experience: One (1) month of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge: Principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
  • Skills: Ability to read and write standard English, comprehend simple instructions, and write simple correspondence. Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations. Proficiency in basic math. Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems and applicable rates. Manual transmission operation and parallel parking skills are highly desirable.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:

  • Physical Requirements: Regularly required to talk or hear, sit or stand for extended periods, run, walk, handle objects, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly.
  • Working Environment: Majority of work will be performed outdoors, subject to environmental conditions including extreme heat and cold. Protection from weather conditions may be provided, but not necessarily from temperature changes.
