Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dishwasher/Food Prep team member to support our busy kitchen operations. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient food service environment. Ideal candidates will have experience in food handling, cleaning, and basic food preparation, with a passion for hospitality and culinary excellence. This position offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in restaurant, catering, or hotel settings while contributing to a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities

  • Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
  • Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning to support kitchen staff.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including countertops, sinks, and floors, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Support bussing duties by clearing tables and resetting dining areas during service hours.
  • Help with catering setup and breakdown for events or banquets as needed.
  • Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure hygiene and safety compliance.
  • Assist in inventory management by notifying supervisors of supplies that need restocking or replacement.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hotel environments is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety standards.
  • Experience with bussing, cleaning, and basic culinary tasks is advantageous.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward guest service and collaboration.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends may be beneficial. This role is vital in supporting our culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences while ensuring a safe and clean environment for staff and guests alike.
