Nino Development is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Foreman – Traffic Signals to lead our electrical construction crews in Phoenix, AZ. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily field operations for traffic signal installation, maintenance, and upgrades.
  • Supervise and direct crews to ensure work is completed on schedule, within budget, and to safety/quality standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and city/state agencies.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, and specifications.
  • Oversee installation of poles, mast arms, conduits, wiring, controllers, and signal heads.
  • Monitor safety compliance and enforce OSHA, DOT, and local regulations.
  • Order and track materials, equipment, and tools for projects.
  • Provide hands-on support, troubleshooting, and problem resolution in the field.
  • Train and mentor crew members to build strong, efficient teams.
  • Maintain accurate daily logs, production reports, and timesheets.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of traffic signal, roadway lighting, or electrical construction experience.
  • 2+ years in a foreman or crew lead role.
  • Strong knowledge of MUTCD standards, ADOT requirements, and traffic control plans.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and electrical schematics.
  • Experience with underground conduit installation, pole setting, and electrical terminations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • CDL license preferred but not required.
  • IMSA Traffic Signal Technician Certification (Level I or higher) strongly preferred.
