As a Lab Technician specializing in removable restorations, you will play a key role in the fabrication of custom dentures and partial dentures, nightguards and retainers ensuring the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and aesthetic appeal. Your work will directly impact the comfort and satisfaction of our patients. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, extensive technical knowledge, and hands-on experience in the dental lab field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate full and partial dentures, ensuring all specifications are met based on impressions and models.
  • Adjust, reline, and repair dentures and partial dentures as necessary.
  • Work with a variety of materials such as acrylic, wax, and metal to create removable dental prostheses.
  • Collaborate with dental professionals to ensure restorations meet patient requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety and quality standards.
  • Continuously monitor and improve the efficiency of the denture fabrication process.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies in removable restoration.
  • Manage and track inventory of materials and equipment necessary for prosthesis production.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Dental Technician degree/certification is preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in dental laboratory work, specifically in removable restorations (dentures, partial dentures).
  • Strong understanding of denture anatomy, occlusion, and the principles of removable prosthodontics.
  • Proficiency with dental lab equipment, tools, and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret dental prescriptions and case specifications.
  • Excellent manual dexterity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
