Summary

We're looking for housekeepers to join our team; shifts will be daytime hours and will be every other weekend. We currently offer a $3 weekend shift differential on top of your regular pay. Our team has access to discounts at Johnny's Italian Steakhouse and travel discounts world wide

Our housekeepers are responsible for cleaning and preparing guest hotel rooms, and may also clean public areas such as front desk or public bathrooms. They also provide exceptional customer service and promptly respond to guests' questions, complaints and requests.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and prepare guest rooms following housekeeping standards.
  • Stock carts with necessary cleaning supplies.
  • Complete daily reports, report room status, and notify supervisor of any maintenance needs or product shortages.
  • Ensure guest and property security by keeping doors locked and reporting suspicious activity.
  • Handle lost and found items appropriately.
  • May assist with running the dishwasher or washing glasses and mugs in certain properties.
  • Perform additional tasks like vacuuming hallways, cleaning public restrooms, washing windows, assisting with laundry, or deep cleaning as assigned.
  • Maintain equipment and supplies and notify supervisor of any maintenance needs.
  • Use personal protective equipment as required.
  • May work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Able to independently follow essential physical functions.

Qualifications

  • Capable of successful completion of online and hands-on training certifications.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift a maximum of 50 pounds and push a cart that is 75 pounds.
  • Previous housekeeping, cleaning or hotel experience preferred.
