As a Secondary English Teacher, you will play a crucial role in educating and nurturing young minds, creating a positive learning environment, and fostering academic growth and social development in secondary school students.

Duties:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards
  • Utilize learning technology to enhance classroom lessons and student engagement
  • Manage classroom behavior and create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Support students with special education needs or those requiring additional assistance
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure student progress
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
  • Provide tutoring or extra support to students as needed
  • Foster student development through creative and interactive teaching methods

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (required)
  • Teaching certification or license (required)
  • Experience working with secondary school students in a classroom setting
  • Proficiency in classroom management techniques
  • Knowledge of special education practices and strategies
  • Familiarity with learning technology tools for educational purposes
  • Strong proofreading skills for reviewing student work
  • Previous experience in childcare or tutoring is a plus
